Meet the Artist Behind it All
Back Story
Sandy Hudson first knew she loved art when she was just eight years old, taking lessons in a neighbour's basement in her hometown of London, Ontario. After studying commercial art at Fanshawe College, Sandy pursued a career as an artist, selling her acrylic paintings and limited edition prints at shows and festivals across Southwestern Ontario.
Inspiration
After raising her son, she returned to college to study the culinary arts and worked for several years in the hospitality industry. Throughout the pandemic, she returned to the drawing board, documenting the world around her in coloured pencil, charcoal and felt-tip pen. Her inspirations come from her family, friends, a dog named Dug and his many buddies.
Passions
Not only does Sandy love creating art, she also loves great food and sharing it with the people she loves. Her many adventures have taught her that if you do what you love it reflects in the things you create.
